Who?

Ryan P. Kennedy is a New York and Connecticut based actor, singer, and writer.

Hey! I'm Ryan!

I've been in the theater since I was 11 years old, where my wonderful director parents cast me in their production of Disney's Tarzan at what would be my future high school (lot to unpack there, I know), for which I received a CTHSMA award for Best Supporting Actor. While attending Syracuse University, I made my professional debut in 2024, in Syracuse Stage's Murder on the Orient Express, and I've been seen onstage in New York City at the Green Room 42 and The Actors' Temple, and at Black Rock Theater/FTC in Connecticut.

I'm also a lyricist/librettist for musical theatre and a playwright! I've written a full-length original musical, Pathways, with my collaborator, the brilliant composer Ethan Clark Davis, who I can often be seen annoying with my nonsensical ramblings. Pathways had a world premiere staged reading on September 22nd, 2024 in Syracuse Stage's Loft Theatre!

In addition to performing and writing, I am a pretty great cook, a pretty bad musician, and a pretty decent singer/songwriter. I love traveling, film, politics, video games, and falling down niche wikipedia article rabbit holes, and I am deeply, deeply committed to the bit.
